yes, being v-e-r-y careful with the ouzo...a single shot glass, sipped over a couple of hours in the evening, and i have no cough or congestion throughout the night, with the added benefit it of deep restorative sleep. with a one shot limit, my companion and i are both very cheap dates. we usually have to split a beer, and end up quite snockered anyhow. fortunately, we generally only drink during televised football games...

Thanks for the nice comments about my self-portrait stamp. You did a great job with cut & paste! Stamps are small and hard to work with; even the larger Revenue stamps.

I "hand-drew" the grid behind the central image (vignette) via MicroSoft Paint, and changed the initials at the top to "F" and "D" (instead of "U" and "S). Then I superposed all over a block of 19th Century stamps. I like the ability to replicate in the digital medium as well as being able to "blow up" the image to work with tiny details.

Sometime soon, I hope to fire up a high quality printer and render some souvenie sheets of various issues of Fluxus Dakota to share with others.

Hi Katerina: Thanks for letting me know my mail art arrived. It travelled very fast! Sometimes it takes longer for mail to travel inside the US!

All the best,
Rachel

Thanks Katerina, Yes, the hand carved Alice was by me for a mail art show on the theme of Alice some years ago- I forget who and where etc. Looking forward to the film - if not at the cinema then on DVD. One of my favourite stories too. I look forward to your paper bird or plane.
