How am I able to instantly recognize art from Carina at one glance? It must be the subdued tones, vintage ephemera, and subtlety. The best translation I could find was that this was about Hekku Hawk and Woddy's Shenanigans. Carina will have to enlighten me on that and also why 89 was a bad art year?  I love the cumber/pickle stamp--far exceeds the Hawaiian Shirt Postcard stamps that have been around forever now. Luckily Carina gives a heads up to 2012 and it does seem she is having a great art year-mostly for those of us that are lucky enough to receive it from her. Thanks Carina!

Diane, thanks for blogging! I'm in trouble with this piece because I can't really say which of the finnish names Nakke or Hekku Hauka stands for Bugs Bunny. Diane you have done a good research, I guess Nakke / Woody is a slang term and the name of the zine. Hekku Hauka / Bugs Bunny on new shenanigans or adventures!

Year 1989, "bad art year" because of beeing too young and isolated..

I love that the cumber seems to be hooked on the fishing line, haven't seen that before!

PS Also many thanks for the blog about my tea bags :)
