When you think you have seen it all, along comes Amy Irwen to blow you away with her "Libations and memories"

Amy Irwen has overwhelmed me with this one.  What starts out to be two beer mats tided together turns out to be a treasure chest of glory.  It is smply amazing.  The hours this must have take to create, and the idea is FAB.

You open up the first page to the first surprise.

And that page hides the next folding page, and it doesn't stop there.  Exciting isn't it.  I'm like a child during his birthday party.  What next? what next?

That page then folds open twice, and more treasures are found.  I spent quite a bit of tme just opening it and closing it.  Everytime seeing something different and more and more detail and thought that went into this little gem.  Thank you very very much Amy.

This is the back of the fold out part.  And I will mention it here for just the people who scroll down to the very end.  This piece brought a tear to my eye.  But us real men don't speak about such things.  Get me another beer dear and turn on the TV, I want to watch the football game!  The Twins are playing at home.  Thank you again Amy.

Not sure what a xxx000<3<3 could be?  Maybe the Twins are in the 3rd with 3 on base.

Oh, by the way, the Twins are an American baseball team, and not a football team ... and I actually don't really like beer or even have hair on my chest.  A big disappointment to my mother I was.  I also invert sentences!  No hope at all for me.

PS Happy you are feeling better now Amy.  You are doing wonderful work now.  Mail Art is a good drug!

This is a great book, and nicely told background story by Dean (and Amy below). Two thumbs up!

You guys are very kind...but let me put this in...

Dean, you kept sending me your quirky, humourous, glorious mail art without a response from me...I wasnt well the first of year so I was not returning to you.
So, when I got to it I had to catch up with you!

I think your mind is marvelous and the time and care you put
Into each pieces. I was overwhelmed that you kept my mailbox full of FUN!!!

You deserve every piece I sent and I'm pleased that you liked each and every one.

Thank you for the wonderful photos and blog..
However the fun is not finished...there is one more still out there, if customs will let it thru. It is called "chew toy"....

And just so everyone knows, if they are confused on the date on this piece, it did not take Dean this long to blog!!! I sent these out in January and customs returned them after a month had gone by for "incomplete address".

So look to your mailbox and hopefully this time something "chewed" will arrive!!!
