Exclusive: Trashpo Hollywood by Nadine Wendell-Mojica (Beautiful Downtown Burbank, California, USA)

Nadine - 11.7.2014 - 1

Mail-art by IUOMA member Nadine Wendell-Mojica (Burbank, California, USA)

November 8, 2014 - Mail-artist Nadine Wendell-Mojica sends me her Hollywood Report for the MinXus-Lynxus blog, and this is a new installment.

I greatly appreciate her efforts as a sleuth searching the gritty streets of Tinsel Town to find the Trashpo that separates rumor from truth and illusion from reality. (She is just north of Hollywood in Burbank, proclaimed "Media Capitol of the World.")

This installment features yet another studio parking pass from Nadine. I am beginning to wonder how she gains access to the studios, although that is likely a secret that makes her such a wonderful MinXus Hollywood correspondent. I think she might work as an extra or has relatives that work at the studios. Here is the reverse side offering an insider view studio parking:

After presentation of this spectacular find, we have the main body of Nadine’s report. As ever, Nadine Wendell-Mojica is humble about the shocking new revelations that come with every installment of the MinXus Hollywood Report:

And the flip side of the pieces above:

Nadine Wendell-Mojica is also a gifted artist in addition to being a trashpoet. She has a gift for caricature in particular; an example appears in the upper right corner (above). She makes lovely envelopes, and you can even send her mail directly:

And the reverse:

So there you have it - direct from the streets of Tinsel Town. Another segment of the MinXus Hollywood Report is filed and put to bed. Deepest thanks to Nadine Wendell-Mojica.

Rumors at DKult are never just rumors. I'm sure this must be true. Trashpo Vines...I think 6 seconds should be doable

A friend told a friend and passed it along to me that Eduardo is hosting the 2015 International Trashpo Film Festival. So gather your Trashvids or start making them.

I haven't seen any official announcements from DKULTPOR but it must be true.

How did i miss the invite to 'picareta lixo' in Portugal? Where is the thread?

So busy am I with packing for the festival that I forgot to say how grateful I am to Nadine for her amazing work, which solved a doubt I had, on wether Beautiful Downtown Burbank really existed.

Perhaps Eduardo should be warned that a delegation from DKult-UK is already packing their bags,  portugal is only a little jump from here.

DK, Nadine could be an important D-Konsultant for the 2015 Trashpo Film Festival.

We all owe a huge debt of thanks to Eduardo for volunteering to host the festival in Portugal. It's not just the back-breaking work and endless hours he is volunteering. I'm sure it will cost him a tremendous amount of money to house and feed the hoards of trashpoets who will arrive at his door.

Hopefully, relief and support can be found.

NADine's trash always tells a story. her art as well. it is always slice of life in nature and gives me a solid sense of her daily travels. I just love Nadine and everything about her especially the way her mind works
