Vintage TIME magazines landed at GrecoSpace Center on 50-Years-Yuri-In-Space-Day!Today, April12!

Thank you, David! Your box is a treasure chest of gems...can't stop flipping pages of 1950's magazines!

Added to the package of TIME magazines was also a notice ...a command...to be sure to annoy everyone with cell phones (mobile phones here). too funny! 'Must make copies and place in various restaurants, cafes, university classrooms and faculty meetings...and the concert hall!

David, you have to list the music on the "odd little mix" CD. Great listing but me thinks I was already abroad when this music was "in" in the USA? I need identification of singers, etc.

That which boxed the TIME magazines is also a treasure! In the inner covers are very expressive "dewy-eyed youth" and "bitter middle-age" images with David's signature illustrated brilliant colors and brush strokes. Love 'em!

Exterior of box! That is copy of a special vintage postcard from "Constantinople", with the Sultan's signature at the top, therefore before the Republic of 1922, and the building is the Prep School at Scutari...Uskadar! (I taught for two years at the Am. School in Istanbul at Arnavutkoy...across the Bosphorus from this school)
