Why I am involved in Mail-Art:
I love trading art, and sending and receiving mail. To me, sending mail back and forth is so special because you get to send a piece of inspiration and ideas especially for someone. I want to be a part of something like this, and hope that i may inspire someone, somewhere in the world.

Hi, Nadia

The artist Jean-Francois Aillet invites you to collect your sample of sand from a moraine, from next to a waterfall or beside a river, along the shore of a lake or a stream, in a desert or on the border of an ocean. One should not, however, send him sand from a construction site. You are asked to document your collection of the material with a photo, taken as you are pouring the sand into a container. For an example, kindly visit his home page at www.aillet.com . English : http://www.aillet.com/traductions/anglais.htm

See you to take part in this international project.

Nadia: Yes! you did it with someone somewhere in the world.  The someone somewhere welcome you to The Eternal Network and says: a perfect start here is mail-art trade. I would like to be the other end on your very beginning at IUOMA when you decide it’s the right time for you to start doing it.    If that’s the case at this time, your envelope should read as follows:

The Celestial Scribe
Caixa Postal, 24827
Curitiba-PR
80510-970
Brazil

II look forward to see your piece in my mailbox.  Yes! I will do my homework after receiving yours.  That’s a celestial promise.  I’m Patricio, Celestial Scribe & Envelope Provider.

Dear Nadia,

Welcome to IUOMA!

It's a great bunch of folks and I hope that you enjoy exchanging Mail Art with us. I'm your Mentor, and if I can help to ease you into IUOMA in any way, then please don't hesitate to ask and I'll try to explain what's going on and how IUOMA works.

If you haven't already done so, I suggest you take a look at the 'New to IOUMA' page (4th from the left at the top of the IUOMA home page) where you'll find a 10-point Introductory Guide that should give you an insight as to what is going on.

Would you like to exchange some Mail Art with me? If so, send me something to 1 Rue de la Vieille Fontaine, F-11130 Sigean, France, and I PROMISE to send you something back... BUT you’ll have to provide me with your postal address – which you should add to your Profile Information if you want to receive some post

Hoping you enjoy your IUOMA days, and that they bring you lots of inspiration.

Regards, Val Herman
