Strange feeling

I'm new to sharing my art with other people....Mail art gave me the opportunity to do it anonymously....Ive been looking at the Postmarked 2011 site, admiring the artwork...I am not overcoming the fear that if I send something in it will disappoint someone. I wonder if this is an uncommon thing or just because Im new to showing people what I do.

Dear Lynda Jo, I'm relatively new, too, and Bifidus has got it very, very right. IUOMA is the most supportive artistic community you could hope to come across. We are all friends, we all support each other. We share -- not just mail art, but stories, ideas, recipes.... you name it. We have specialist groups, and not-so-specialist projects.
