Received another wonderful collage from ML Stephens

Love this collage on spring green paper of the mighty bird, stalking through the human-scaled buildings, with a border of black and white cultural signifiers, and circles of day and night sky. Curious about the bird, I pulled out my trusty Sibley, and narrowed it down to a group of wading birds with astonishing names, many of which I'd never heard before, suitable for entry in those crossword puzzle squares. Godwit, whimbrel, willet, snipe, curlew, limpkin! I think this bird towering above the red barns is a limpkin. Thank you for the tour through different worlds.
