The suspense was just too much when I picked up an envelope from Nancy, yesterday! It was supposed to go to the bottom of my pile, to open later, but I just had to know what was in it.
To start - it was one of Nancy's big brown envelopes, pimped to the 9's, and loaded with vintage stamps. Not to get off subject here, BUT although Nancy claims the mailman doesn't like here; she gets star treatment from the PO. Two cancellation marks with readable dates and origin!
I had two envelopes waiting in line from Nancy. One was a an wonderful ZALOP & this new one that was a GOTIJ. The ZALOP did had a special message to me, noting that this was her first ZALOP. I have to say....WELL DONE NANCY!
The GOTIJ was the squishy, mysterious one. It was a jewel as well. OK, I just opened it and contained a fascinating piece of tape art and small scraps of handmade paper. I'm in love with this piece. Yep! Here is a HUGE THANK YOU, Nancy. You can view the piece below and Nancy wrote a special note to me. BTW, few people can read her handwriting, but I can. The note says she made it entirely from scraps from her art table and it was not random. She thought about it! I will cross post in the Trashpo group with the back of it. For now.....Thank you, Nancy. You are the bestest!

Prettylily, you are scarce whenever I get to catching up lately. Hoping to see more of you ...
I am still loving it, Nancy! We missed you while you were away. I'm happy to see you are back. Right now I am running on empty.
I'm very glad you liked this, Sue, thank you!
Someone is sure to spot her soon. Missed her today. I'm glad you all were here to share the joy. :-)
Where is Mrs. Spotty socks anyway? Its lonely without her. Yes Sue, I definately try to make myself wait as long as possible but usually can't wait more than an hour or so. It's why I miss the old days of film and the anticipation.
That's a real GOTIJ, yes!
Is that an offer to send me one? I have been wishing for one. All I have are two lazy cats and I am sure you know the saying....dog's have masters & cat's have staff.
Ha, ha, DK! Yes, the squishy envelopes are wonderful. I thought of you when I held it in my hand and tried to restrain myself from opening it out of sequence. Meaning before I could scan it! Just couldn't resist and I am still not caught up with my scanning.
Love both of them. Don't you just love her squishy envelopes?Nancy's new reality show "Pimp My Mail Art"
