A lovely collage composed of various bits of paper rescued from the street (I suppose) by Diane. Exquisite composition, delicate monochrome colour scheme juxtaposed with the frivolous message: Work schedule: Week of the stoner. Diane, you made me laugh!
Also included were some yummy bits, among them patriotic stickers, an auspicious fortune cookie message, and an old book page. Fun! Thank you, sister!

I sometimes embrass myself picking up trash. sometimes I just try to act like I'm being a hardcore environmentalist and shake my head. I don't know why I care, but yeah I was surprised that it didn't bother him.
the stoner dude drawing was on the back of a restaurant guest check receipt and I don't remember where or who found it, but it has a bart simpson feel to it
DK, you are a magnet. tell me, who else would find that little drawing of the stoner dude?
thats great, I think my son would have been mortified.
it's a good drawing isn't it Terri? you can tell it's someone really livin the life and probably packed up and moved to Colorado.
Viz (weird calling you that)--I can neither confirm nor deny
Ooh, is that a new punk band portrait of you, Diane??
I was walking with my son somewhere near his school and then stopped to pick up some good garbage. i said, "It's bad enough you have to be seen with your Mother but then I have to go and pick up trash?" He said, "That didn't bother me." what a great kid:)
Not for me either. When I was younger yes, but not in over 25 years. That's great that you have little helpers :-)
No, you did not. I thought it might have been yours. How you find all these things is a mystery. Austria is kept way too tidy. But I have started collecting those extra rare and special finds, which I may send to you at an appropriate time!
thanks for blogging XX!! I hope I wrote in the note that the little drawing of the stoner dude was a found object
glad you liked it and hope you are feeling much better!
