I mailed John a "happy Fall" piece and he responded in kind. There is a very wonderful 8x11 piece of art in the package but my scanner is smelling strange so I'm stopping using it until hubby gets home. But here's what I could capture and love as much as the art (sorry John). He stuffed a lipton tea bag with treasures. The map, I believe marks in green where he is. Then there's the asemic. Is that right De? The grocery list! I cracked up.
He sent a bunch of delightful Vispo as I am now getting the hang of it. He referred to the piece I sent him as a
"cool codex". I'll have to think on that. But thank you John. I totally loved your package. I look forward to mailing u a "happy Winter" piece!

Karen - what a score! Teabags, shopping list, vispo, asemic writing... C'mon, you gotta love this. I've been a little scared to send him and Mehrl something. But after this, I have to. Welcome to my world. Because this is also very, very familiar. You always get the best stuff! I want a shredded John Bennett shopping list!
