Los Angeles Fe-Mail meet-up: date changed to April 19th

As announced in the WCCW Bulletin #11, the date of the monthly mail-art meet up has been changed to April 19, 2015:

FE-mail meet-up and documentary screening

April 19th, 1-4:30 pm, Location TBD

Kim Gomez invites you to a monthly mail-art meet-up project: FE-mail! Inspired by an issue of Vile entitled Fe*Mail*Art (Vol. 6, No. 3, Summer 1978. Banana Productions), this project aims to bring women together to make mail, collaborate, and see what others are making. For our kick-off event on April 19th, we'll be screening Michael Polk's documentary Making Mail for the first half (1.5 hours), and we'll spend the rest of the time making some mail! If you think you might be interested in participating in the monthly meet ups, this is a great way to get started and learn about mail art; if you already are a mail-artist, this is a great opportunity to meet some like-minds in the LA area. Some basic supplies will be provided, but mail art makers of all formats are encouraged to bring their own supplies to the event.
