It was late. I had decided to retire to my inner sanctum to examine Kerri's art werk. One particular piece caught my eye. It was several hours before I was able to snatch it back because I kept seeing faces in the work. Unmistakable faces. I burst into Patti's room for independent verification. "Can you see this hippo?" She replied calmly, "You're hallucinating again, Dave." But it's there....it's there....I cried. "Dave, remember why we had to paint over the knotty pine ceiling? You kept seeing Annette Funicello in various states of undress...is it coming back to you?" "That was different. This hippo is really there, I tell you!" Alas, when I asked Kerri she said she couldn't remember what she sent me. Clearly Patti had gotten to her. So, now I must take my case to the world at large. To help you "see" I have sketched in some contextual backgrounds. Am I mad? (Please take your time answering.)  (I should point out there's money riding on the outcome.) (Really big money). (As in tens of dollars). Thank you, Kerri.

Hmmm, did I just inadvertently write a new hit for Noel Harrison?

You know, Nancy, Kerri's print does have beavers in it as well as koalas and humans too. It's a menagerie. I'll put your ideas into practice and see if it works. (Some people may object to having their work put through the Rorschach Mill of my Mind, however).

Do you realize how many more people would join your Enchanted group, Dave, if you'd just naturally hallucinate whenever you analyze art and write a blog about it this way? Clearly, hallucination comes easily to you, so stop holding back. Be yourself.

I don't want to alarm you but think it's a pity Kerri didn't send you a beaver with these other guys. How hardworking is a hippo?

In your comment below I see a Big Bad Wolf with a low bun, but who would expect you to see that when you dream of Annette and her bigger hairdos.

It's as plain as the flip on her face....

But wait...there's more...I won't tell you what I saw in these.
