I received a ‘poetic and mysterious’ piece of mail art from Risto Holopainen, who goes by the pseudonym ‘Oberdada Jr.’ on the forum.
The texts left me baffled when I tried to translate them using my phone’s app. I naively thought it was Norwegian, but it wasn’t. ..
It might be a constructed language. The word ‘conlang’ is short for ‘constructed language’, meaning a language that has been invented and is spoken by fictional characters (e.g. Star Trek or Blade Runner). Risto asks me what I think… my brain is working overtime! :-)
