Mail Art from Canada by awyn.
Three pieces of mail have arrived from the artist and poet awyn! The first envelope contained stamps as a present and a painting on the theme of my poem, and awyn kindly put a quote from the Russian original on the back (she read my poem in English translation).
The second envelope (with a flying muzhik) contains a small watercolour and a quote from Akhmatova, in Russian, elegantly decorated.
Finally, the third envelope contains two meditative artworks: a variation on the themes of Matsuo Bashō (a Japanese poet of the Edo period) and a fisherman for me.
Three wonderful events make me richer! Thank you!
