Guillaume Langou: Sky Scrapers

Funny enough I just returned from the Rose City (as the French like to call Toulouse) and this lovely hand painted Mail Art piece was waiting for me at the door. (Much better than a dog and a lot cheaper to feed.)A visiting card was also enclosed.Guillaume living in the Rose City seems to be dreaming of the big apple. Those brick buildings of Toulouse can not hold him for much longer.

So I say; "Fly my avian friend, I give you the illusion of freedom. Enjoy it.”

Actually it's a famous quote from Birdman of Alcatraz, a 1962 film starring Burt Lancaster and directed by John Frankenheimer.

Sorry, I don't know what came over me.Lovely stamps. Thank you very much Guillaume. You and the Rose City have inspired me.
