Beautiful watercolours and photographs from new friend An U of Latvia. These are photos she took on the beach and feature pieces of washed up amber. Wow, I hope she collected them!

I somewhat rudely demanded mail art from new friend Taidgh of Ireland, and here's what I scored!

A fabulous envelope with birds and a mail art machine, very handy indeed!

And inside a crazy crocodile mummy amongst psychedelic art doodles!

Love these, thanks to you both!

Good to see you got the envelope Vizma! Thanks for blogging them ;) It was lots of fun making and I drew a new character - the crazy crocodile mummy. I'm surprised he stayed on the card and didn't run away! As you can see I took the liberty in changing your last name! Cheeky me! And Rebecca I think I saw a documentary on those silly machines at the Southwold pier. They looked wonderful! I would love a trip to the seaside if only the weather would improve. Wait it's October - what am I thinking?

Lots of joy here.  At Southwold pier in England there are silly machines that do imaginary things.  Taidgh" contraption makes me want to go to the seaside! Lovely.
