Vizma made an innocent comment on a piece of art she sent me saying "We should do a fat fur book swap" or something to that effect. She mailed it and long since forgot about it. I loved the idea and had to take her up on it. So I sent her a dreadful fuzzy book and this is what she sent back. Not only is it soft as toilet paper as she says, it is furry, and it is a trashbook! trashpo and Roadkill all in one--sublime. The New Hair Product that she asked me to be a guinea pig for, was dug out of it's envelope immediately and played with as though it had some kind of catnip in it, by my cats. In fact, they were enthusiastically sniffing the whole thing. I did not at first know why. I sent Vizma some American Roadkill Racoon and she has sent me, what I believe to be, roadkill kangaroo!!! If I am wrong, I can't image what this beautiful fur rug is. She also sent me horse hair and Doris Day's armpit hair! Vizma--don't you dare say this isn't good because it is great and made me laugh myself silly. This is as close as I will ever be to a kangaroo and for that I am grateful. Thank you Vizma. I adore this
more to follow. and what on earth is IN the hair burger? I like the idea of glueing it onto a hat or helmet, but what makes it irresistible to cats? that could be a problem. more pages to follow in comments section

How funny RC--I had no idea he did that. I was going to use packing tape:)
09.11.13 Double Dare Ms. Diane Keys, Are you channeling Ray Johnson??????? You most likely do not know that (upon occasion) Ray J. would Scotch tape some sort of tiny dead insect to his letters & label it" Bed Bug " or some such. Signed & Sighed, Wretched C.
i mean a dead, but real, flea
Can't wait--I am already concocting my next piece of mail art to you. "That would be good to send to Richard." comes up often. Luckily, I nixed the idea of sending you a live flea
09.11.13 Dare Ms. Diane Keys,.......& as we know, Ray Johnson oftentimes used fake eyelashes in his collage works. There are a few "Double Fake" Eyelash collage items sleeping here somewhere (or in the storage unit)....I'll send you one whenever I can locate them. Best (& or worst), Richard Canard
I MUST continue to believe it is kangaroo hair. Besides, i told a bunch of people it was so i have to go with it. Your sister has lovely hair and I'm thinking of wearing the Doris Day eyelash/armpit hairs today so it looks like I'm winking all day. thanks for hair history-it is even more special now
Thanks xx, nice to b associated with Oppenheim here!!? haha.
Ok, now for some fur facts...
The hair net contains the sweepings up of my sister's haircut, swept off the floor in a house which has a little terrier. Maybe your cats can smell the dog and are attacking it?
The hairburger is possibly rabbit fur from a bed cover which I inherited, and is now moulting for summer.
The rug is a layer from Pinka's (my cat) fabric cat-flap, after years of exits!
The horse-hair is from our dead horse, not Black Beauty. I lied.
And Doris' eyelashes are of course from Doris, cos she says so.
(BTW, Fab movie link, Diane.)
I like that fem rating idea :-)
The movie world is now at least 99% mentally and creatively impoverished.
