All my bags are packed I'm ready to go
I'm standin' here outside your door
I hate to wake you up to say goodbye
But the dawn is breakin' it's early morn
The taxi's waitin' he's blowin' his horn
The adventures of Erni's Mummy begins.

A plan looks like it is in place. Four litres of water will need to be carried along the South Kaibab trail. It gets hot very quickly as you go down into this monster.
Ceder Ridge sounds too tame.
But who knows how far the Mummy will get. Skeleton Point sounds like a good idea. The name has a nice ring to it.
Your style might be to stab the Mummy. Just an educated guess.
The Mummy is made out of a sand stone like plaster. The idea was to hit is with the hammer and chip away the pièces to find out what is inside. Remember back when Erni mailed it? It was very cold in Germany, hence the gloves, or he didn't want to leave finger prints!
Hitting a Mummy with a hammer is just not my style. There must be another way.
I have other more natural plans for the Mummy.
Did you take that photo, Kat? Monument Valley--unearthly (sort of what Erni said!). My sister was just out there too. A little late to run into Dean. Unique and gorgeous landscapes. Takes your breath away.
Mummy could be made of acrylic and marble dust...like new reproductions of
Greek statues for the tourists: light weight and non-breakable?
Monument Valley is beautiful Navajo territory and the "monuments"
are numbered along the 17 mile trail, as Dean said.
9 Artists Point...is the 9th stop...there are many:
Mittens
Totem Pole
3 sisters
The Thumb
North window
The Hub
Elephant Butt( I kid you not! or is that "butte"?)
Camel Butte
Honeymoon Arch
Pine Tree Arch
Sentinel Mesa
Hunts Mes...etc, etc.....
Mummy looks like plaster--very attractive thought--which might be a bit much to expect Dean to lug around. Probably plastic, but still, one can hope.
Your photos during the mummy's travels are stupendous, Dean. Very imaginative ideas. The mummy fits in well with the landscapes you visited. A fine match.
