Dustin Hamby Is a Trashpo Savant

Dustin sent this outrageous piece of art--one of the most unique I have received. It is a trashpo heart and is made to scale from what I could tell. A trashpo Valentine like none I've ever seen. His bits of office 'harware' continue to bring a whole new dimension to trashpo. As Dkult Chaplain he has these words of wisdom:

"Of course, we all must accept-no- LOVE trash to the point where we WRAP it with our never ending embrace"

agreed DVS--Rain Man AND Rain Main. The trash po heart arrived wrapped in felt tied with a wire. It looked like a bomb, but Dustin really languishes in the details. Rich stuff indeed!

This just goes to prove my belief that Dustin is the Rain Main of mail-art. People go for years trying to achieve what he does effortlessly. No accounting for it.

Steph, yes. it is a ball wrapped in thread, rubberbands, a doll, dog figurine, trash, toy parts, gold thread, nails, brads, and fabric. It's really amazing. The cherry on top is an Oscar the grouch sticker of him in his trash can.
