David Suárez aka El Agujero de Mirna: Car and Boekie (Vostell Monument)

My very first Mail Art from David Suarez.  Normally when I receive mail art it's an easy matter.I scan or take a photo of the Mail Art, up load the photos to the blog, write the blog, send a thank you message and attach a link to the blog, update our database, call the Accounts Department to see if we have enough in the budget for me to send something back, notify the Resident Curator, send the mail art to the archive branch, and formally request that the workshop makes and sends something back. But no, that's not enough for this one.  It comes with it's own instructions and a car! This one is going to take a little more thought and imagination.

Thank you David, I'll be back with the answer soon.

Well I failed on Friday to come up with the goods, but I'll have another shot at it on Monday.  How do I get in touch with David?  Is he on IUOMA?

"white cement" (not plaster) was poured into a plastic bag lined cardboard box :-0

Join in the fun, InSeine!

You'll have to order the  "Workshop" to mix and pour cement,

and then "sink" the car into some of it :-) Good luck!

...we had a BLUE car here in Greece :-)
