Digging out of a deep hole, Matt. Didn't realize I had an "Oceans" excerpt until Amy caused a doubletake.

Oh yeah, I will post it at M-L & get something I hope is worthy to ya (at last).

Thanks again

Yip Matt, have had it for some time. Much appreciated.

I can understand you're anxious to receive you're very own autographed Mink Rancher photo and genuine souvenir -  we're on it, Tenderfoot.

Thx again

thanks, Moan! I believe i sent De Villo a "From Oceans" too - hope you got it DVS! - fyi the "stamp" is a found (ew) plastic "to go" soda lid which provides fantastic results! love it.

thanks DVS...I should clarify...Matt is a new member to ME....I was very surprised and delighted to get this piece of Vispo...

Amy, you ask what people see. Moan confirms it's a stamp with "Big Gulp," and a lot of Matt's work I've seen has distortion in various ways, often achieved with text, such as the stamping smears, object stamps etc. I have always maintained it's asemic and/or textual-visual structures woven in or it achieves that effect. That's one possible way to see it, among others.

Inclined as I always am to name things. I claim this as another triumph for Asemic Trashpo aka Trashemics.

Thank You, Amy!

Wow, this is by Matt Stolte? Great piece regardless.

Matt's a really excellent (IMHO) visual poet from Madison, WI. He's actually pretty active in the IUOMA network and has even done some Trashpo - the "Big Gulp" makes me think of that.

Thanks for sharing.
