Our Artist-in-Seine sent a very Greek BLUE card with "ILIOS"...ΗΛΙΟΣ...SUN!

Lots of the Greek meander...or Greek Key,

and his card is sent from France...French postage stamp this time ...

Was he "home for the holidays"? Hope so!

When was the 'saw' gals from?  He's a font of amazing mail art!

And what about the "Saw" gals..came from Seine without any wrappings, just the stamps on the flip side. (Did it cut the postman's fingers???)

The lint fan! That's right up there with Crackerjack Kid's blender.

And I just thought it was packaging from greek yogurt.  Thanks for the blog.

Ps I still like that lint fan.

No wonder you can survive anything, Erni, the Artist-in-Seine sent you a "life preserver"!

And yes "Ilias" is a name, but here with blue-and-white and the Greek meander, it is

not Ilias, but "ILIOS"...which is Greek for "the  sun" = ΗΛΙΟΣ...(it's Greek to me :-)

This BLUE "ILIOS" is also the third card he sent me, the other two are here:

The Artist in Seine around-the-world with 2 mail art cards

Very exotic and my Turkish delight!

These were sent from the UK.

Oh, yes, Rebecca, those are great "Seine" pieces! Thanks for posting here.

He is really on-the-move and sending some fantastic cards.

I like the cut-out head he sent you, talk about great "odd-shaped postcards"!

Isn't it interesting how his palette reflects the light of the land of the people he is sending too!  I pine for the blue of the sea that your piece evokes!  Clearly all people wintering in the UK drink wine, need to wear reflective gear most of the day if they bike, are infatuated by their own history and the countries they have landed in. As always a delight to receive mail art from the Seine, or one of his outposts!

I got three pieces from our elusive networker too!  I thought I'd post them here and will blog about them in the postalledger soon too!
