Not active on this site for a while, but active with mail art in other places, I have never forgot this group and will try to do more here.
Why? Because I received beautiful mail art from Shellie Lewis.
The other week there was a beautiful envelop in my mailbox. And inside was a stunning ATC and like the nice letter said, some bits and bobs. It will be a delight to work with the papers and drink a lovely cup of Yerba Maté Chai. I love it all! Thank you Mercedes. Nice to be in touch again.…Continue
I love making ATC's and off course receiving them! Thank you, Judy for this beautiful Coffee ATC. I love to drink coffee, so I like it a lot. It is so well made. I also like the extra's. They will be well used. And after I have used the washi tape, there will be a interesting card left. Love your envelop to. Even that will be used in a junk journal. Thanks again and I will be sending…Continue

Send from the USA on the 13th and received in the Netherlands at the 19th of August!!! Can you believe that? I wish all Mail Art had that speed. ;-) And in it was a teabag with the sentence "Sipping thoughts of peace, hope floats my way." The flavor? Moonlight Spice! I like to drink tea and will enjoy this thinking of Mercedes in New Mexico. The ATC also hit a favorite place,…Continue

After being away from home for a while I found this lovely mail art from Erin Young on my doormat. The colors on the black background work so well. The sayings are so appropriate. It is a work of art, mail art! And yes the distances that the art travels around the world is mind blowing.Continue
The next day I was spoiled again. Look at all the beautiful things I got from Stan Askew. Thank you so much for your art and the other goodies. And the beautiful envelop with the Janis Jopling stamps and the special stamping was a joy for me and my postman. He is also enjoying all the beautiful mail I get. He has asked me a while ago, why I get such special mail and loved my story about it. Now he always smiles when he sees me. I think it makes his job more enjoyable. Thanks so…Continue

At the beginning of this week I received an other beautiful mail from Shellie Lewis, packed with goodies. A drawing (or is it a print) of a sad lady, a zine about music, a atc with the explanation about the art of atc's and for a first time: inchies! It is all so beautiful and now I have made my first inchies. Love the process of this tiny pieces of art. ATC is not new to me. Shellie, you have spoiled me again. Thank you so much.…Continue

Last week I received mail from Moan Lisa. In there was a postcard that was partly made and I was asked to finish it. I love that so much, that I started at once and have send it already back. But I totally forgot to take a picture. :-(
Thank you for the beautiful arti stamps. I love them. Later I will also do the second add and pass.

Today I received a mysterious white postcard from Petrolpetal. Is it a swimsuit? Is it a fish? Is it the letter M?
And then the question of how can it still be so white after that long journey? I keep looking at it and see more and more possibility's to what it can be. And that is why real art is so special! Thank you, Petrolpetal.…Continue

End of December a other special mail art piece from Cascadia fell in my Mail box. Always a pleasure. This time he looked back to all the mail art contacts in 2014. I am glad that I was a part of it.

On the 26th of November I received the triangle envelop of Phillip Lerche. And....... forgot to blog about it. Today I have seen the blog from Katherina (Momcat) and found out that I didn't notice the Upside Down Jenny. I had been reading about it and so I am very honored that it is now in my collection. No Photo this time, because the blog of Katherina shows it all. Thank you Phillip!
