Thank you Cristina!

Thank you Cristina - love your mailart. The scan doesn't do them justice - they are like little floating alien creatures with tiny, tiny eyes.

Lovebird badges for cancer charity

I've been making zines & upcycled badges from used, bird-themed postage stamps this year, after my dad was diagnosed and passed away from bowel cancer.  Proceeds from items sold are going to a bowel cancer awareness charity.  This is a new batch of badges I have made from a sheet of used stamps which my dad…

Friends & Faux: new faux postage mail art project

I first hosted Friends & Faux back in 2010 and it was an awesomely fun project to co-ordinate. The project postcards feature ‘gallery’ spaces for 8 artistamps/faux postage stamps which are filled up as they are passed from one mail artist to the next before the completed card finally returns home.  I decided it was time for this project to live again!  For full details of…

To Sara Lauwereins. (In)visible traces.

Modern man, my friend said, as tourist knows exactly when he arrives but not where he is going. The pilgrims, however, knew exactly where they were going but never when they arrive.

Tamara Wyndham sends a pair of memories

Tamara sent me two pieces of mail art.  This is a fragment from her painted-altered postcard.  Sometimes a postcard is able to transmit am emotion and for me this does - I guess that's VISPO.

The other card Tamara sent me is from her deceased friend, Elizabeth Obelenus.

Together they make quite a pair.

To see both visit:…
