A great piece from Jim SantAmour!
I took part in a soundtrack project called "1 minute autohypnosis" that Pedro Bericat organized, and he was kind enough to send out this object. The package contains a CD disk with all of the participants' soundtracks along with an embossed image of a 33 1/3RPM record. Pretty cool! To listen to all of the CDs…

Received this inviting piece from Janine! It is made with tissue paper, paint, and some other transparent textured overlay. It is warm like her and very Fall-ish. Maybe it is Fall in Switzerland?

Something new in the neighborhood?
If it is tape, it's Jon Foster!
This mail art from Jon is mysterious and vague under layered packaging tape.
"So...this ...means you"? "It's an..." arty piece :-)
Great texture and…

At first I thought it was another farm piece from David Stafford until I saw the In Seine stamp on the other side! And when I opened the shed doors, there was Dean!…

No return address on the card but I am pretty sure this is Lisa's beautiful calligraphy. I hope I am right! If I am not, well, it is still a fantastic handwriting, painted on a thick book cover. Another "give it away" is the line about Marie Antoinette (about as much help as aspirin would have been to Marie Antoinette). I might be wrong here again but it looks…

A beautiful and delicate boekie from Alicia. I am not sure what kind of paper she has used, is it a kind of rice paper? It would fit the organic theme very well. Tea at the farm on a late spring evening, surrounded by chicken, or as Vizma would say, chooks :-)) I like chooks better. Alicia also included Japanese text, a piece of sewing pattern, and to wrap up…

The Little Red Bag came for a visit
the towns people found her quite exquisite
then she went to visit a farm, it was there she
discovered a tractor man's charm
north, south, east, west, 'i gotta move on
and see what's next
where can i go in the midwest?'
she reached inside to grab her hankie and whispered,
'I'm off to visit snooky and angie'
she raised her arm to wave goodbye,
that's…

Finally have a chance to post a piece from Sarah I recieved before my sons Make a Wish trip.it is a post card that seems to have a base of a tag or part of a box. Then embelished with more paper and labels. I love it and the stitching is something I have always wanted to do.
Thanks Sarah!

Leda – Or The Search for Beauty by Marie Wintzer.
Minxus tirelessly walks the arduous road in Search for Beauty. Marie wrote and told me that she had visited an exhibition in Japan featuring the work of Leonardo Da Vinci. That visit inspired this series on beauty.
In Greek mythology, Leda was the daughter of an Aetolian king and a Spartan mother. …
