Amy sets out a very deep concept. Floating fibers. You never see them mention on cereal boxes, but they do exist.
Sorry I got carried away there ... Deep concept, yes you can just see yourself falling into these fluffy pieces of fibers and colours. I'm sure you will agree. Lovely indeed.
Thank you Amy. I am always amazed of what you can do…

So Bifidus Jones won the word project and features on Marie's boekie. If I only would have known that, I would have returned mine, and Bifidus would have still won. The photos in this boekie were inspired by ancient Egyptian mythology about the creation of the earth and sky, according to the Book of the Dead.
Thank you Marie, it's nice to blog you. …

Ah Janine is up on the life in Paris, and yes we are all excited about the Hopper show in the Grand Palais which I have already booked my ticket ... for the last day!
And Janine has included all the Hooper Hopper classic details. Very enjoyable.
They say that this is the first time that "Nighthawks" has been shown in France. Except for now on…

Christine Tarantino was recently diagnosed with a stage 4 cancer. I have started a prayer group for her on Facebook. If you belong to Facebook, please go to the page "Prayer Group for Christine Tarantino" to leave a message or to LIKE the page. It will also help if members SHARE this page of hers to spread the word. Christine wants our prayers!!!
I'd appreciate it if an IUOMA member would start a Prayer Group for Christine on IUOMA.
Thanks! Wilma

I recently jumped into the world of Ray Johnson by watching the fascinating account of his enigmatic persona in the documentary film " How to Draw a Bunny". I 've always known that Ray was the Founding Father of mail art. But I never knew about the details of his life-as-art, as-collage, as-mail-art approach to seamlessly melding himself with his art!
The film is composed of interviews with the many, many art world luminaries and others who sorta knew Ray.Each story they tell, adds a…

I must admit I coveted something destined for Granny Eliane, so when I got my own too, the guilty pleasure of holding a piece of genuine De Villo Sloan concrete poetry made my head, my head swim. I can't do this but I appreciate it enormously!
Wrapped in the…

Chapters 100 and 101 were received from Simon Warren over the weekend. I'm wondering if this is the close of a very intriguing, ambitious novella of words and drawings?
Simon, if you are reading this, thank you very much for 101 chapters of work. The effort and insight are much appreciated. I've written to you before to thank you but you've not yet responded. Again, if you are reading this, please feel free to write or exchange mailart. "Good on ya, mate!"…

I haven't been present here much and I would like to say that I had Beri Beri or a bout of Scurvy or some other exotic excuse but the truth is I have fallen behind...way behind in my gratitudinal offerings. This is a chronic problem for me as many of you know. I have received art in the past few months from (in no particular order) Marie Wintzer, Marie Wintzer and Marie…
