The display of mail art from the Mail Art Call, Celebrate IUOMA 25, was a wonderful success. My thanks to all who sent entries! The event was held at the Lucie Stern Community Center in Palo Alto, California. About 300+ visitors viewed the display. This beautiful art envelope is so awesome. Neila painted the envelope; hand cut the swimming figure; stuffed the envelope with what feels like hand made paper...and mailed to me! I was ecstatic that it arrived undamaged..

Last weekend I attended my first Mail Art exhibition! It was held in Mount Barker, a very charming and supportive arts region in the Adelaide Hills.
Such a cute gallery, it used to be the original General Store from the 1800s.
