I've been unproductive in mail art lately due to my air conditioning breaking down and needing replacement when the outdoor temperatures were 105 (which it still is, but now I have a new AC system), and later due to working on finishing up a baby quilt. My apologies to those I owe mail to, and I somehow am not feeling like I'm being very creative with my ideas right now.  But regardless of that, working on the theme of tamales, which I sent out a couple of weeks ago, couldn't resist…

I KNOW these two are enjoying sun and sand - aside from telling us so - their work LOOKS like it!  This is one lady on IUOMA that I KNOW heart matters to.  MomKat is supportive of everyone, sends out work like a MACHINE and collaboratives with a giving spirit ALL THE TIME!! The heart is an asemic matter too for sure - we unconsciously write on it and into it ALL  the time. A tablet of living flesh. Thats what this looks like.…

After Marie's benign dreamlike images I was awoken smartly with Cheryl's dream image.....I definitely don't want to see these in my nightime meanderings. The wolf, though beautifully painted, is a REAL SCARY image. What's happening Cheryltjie??? Is jy OKAAAAY?????…

It was a dark and rainy night, the lab technician was bored and gazing out of the window at the rainwashed streets. Absentmindedly she scratched symbols and letters into the glass pane. "Does he still play the accordian?" she wondered, "or does he even remember me?"…

There's so much to like about Cuan's work--the composition, the tone of past lives and wisdom, the layers of humanity, the portrait covered in tape. It all adds up to vintage elegance. A wonderful piece.
