This mail art piece is hauntingly beautiful, and its tactile substrate reminds me of old wallpaper.  Well done, Nadia!

This piece (a trashpo triptych) came the other day, along with an artifact tag from the Tangerine Mink period (dare we say dynasty?) all enclosed in a cellophane envelope.

This piece is very heavy, and cost a considerable amount to send.  It is also rather large, being 24 x 15 cm.  The collage is layered onto a book cover torn from a hapless throw away that has long been used up, now re-appointed.  The layering is fantastic, and I like the way he is varnished the surface rather than using tape.  The USPS tracking number bar code lends a…

I received my first piece of mail from Carina, and it is an amazing and inspiring work. I have on occasion made some books, but I have not done it in a while, and I have never made a book quite like this. When I received this piece, it made my day.
