I received my first piece of mail from Carina, and it is an amazing and inspiring work. I have on occasion made some books, but I have not done it in a while, and I have never made a book quite like this. When I received this piece, it made my day.

First I'll share the envelope. Above is a detail from the front and below is the back.

Carina made book covers that were recycled, by all appearances, from an existing book. The pages inside showcase a diverse mix of methods and materials. The imagination and the skill that went into the book is really amazing and inspiring to me. The title on the front cover is "What do you want?" and the subtitle inside the front cover is "A Little Book About Mark Making."

Thank you for the great blog, Chris! Besides an old book cover, I used some text from a book by Stephen King, this and that... I had great fun putting it together. I hope you will make lots of books!
