I want to have words that describe how amazingly perfect and perfectly me this mail art from David is…but I don’t have the words that will do it justice. Here is what I can say…. This absolutely perfect piece of mail art features…my love, the vintage couch! Wait… there is more….with three hilarious illustrated couch rides! But wait….there’s more! Vintage newspaper article…Chicago Daily News re: a WGN radio commentator plans to retire at 35 in Arizona! Why is this so perfectly me??? I grew up…

Unusual experience yesterday, opening the mailbox to one (1) priceless envelope resting there. No bills, no direct mail, nothing but this one envelope. Apologies for the drama, see for yourself. Painted and collaged page from a book. Enough said. Thank you Nancy. Really, really like this.…

It was so good to hear from Lesley and I love this print she did on a doilie. The message was written in a circle on the back. The face is sad and I would imagine this is a reflection of the difficulties she is experiencing at this time. So glad things are better though. Thank you…

I received mail from Thom Courcelle and Ruud Janssen in the same week. They seem tied together in some way – so Thom – your work has informed the meaning I have ascribed to Ruud’s new FLUXUS word.
ZAPIL:
Time is short, soon there will be ZALOP of it left. Use every minute wisely – its an un-renewable resource.
Thank you for the accompanying…

I was amazed when I received this piece by Karen. I don't remember seeing anything similar on the blogs, it looks like a completely new turn for Karen. She has framed the text with thick brush strokes of various colors, sometimes blending into each other, sometimes not. The textures are also quite remarkable, I hope one can see it on the picture. And I forgot…

Who knew one could do such wonders with rolled-up paper? This is a very creative card from Torma Cauli. I love the way he worked with picture and paper to create a three dimensional story (including the envelope). Great card, thank you Torma!…
