Why I am involved in Mail-Art:: When I was at university, I became interested in Mail Art and participated in the calls that were spread by word of mouth. Now, my desire to resume this practice with more intensity is due to the fact that I research art from the 70s, visual poetry, artist books and artists who still maintain an active production, such as the Brazilian Paulo Bruscky and the Uruguayan Clemente Padín. I have also organized calls to disseminate to new generations in order to reactivate this artistic action with a political bias.

Very good days, In the country where I live, (Venezuela), national mail is not used, 
if someone wants to receive a letter they must use private mail, such as DHL. But they are used
 only by companies since their cost is high for individuals. 
 I can give my address, but hardly any mail will arrive.  
Address: First Av. with the third cross street of Santa Eduvigis, Sanduvi Plaza building, tower B, 
apartment 3B. Urbanization Santa Eduvigis, 1071, Caracas. Venezuela.

Pedro Bericat sent me an unusual piece... without an envelope, wrapped in a transparent adhesive... (I still don't know if I should try to release its contents from the inside or not...)

Claire Humphrys, our Odyssey

Since last September we have talked about swapping correspondence, but at that time sending to Australia was not allowed. The only explanation I received at the post office was that since the pandemic the services had not been regularized.

In the meantime Claire sent me this lovely collage, with a warm personal note. A beautiful stamp is also printed on her envelope! Thank you Claire! <3…
