Comment by Dan Landrum on May 3, 2014 at 3:24pm: Val, this is a graphic combining the classic RCA "Indian head" test pattern, which "became familiar to the large Post–World War II baby boom TV audiences in America from 1947 onwards; it would often follow the formal television station sign-off after the United States national anthem" with the yantra or symbolic representation of the Sahasrara, the seventh primary chakra (or white lotus, located either at or slightly above the top of the head) according to Hindu tradition, plus two mandalas.
