A vote?! What do you think this is, some sort of democracy? The Radical Socialist Librationist Democratic Contraconceptualist, Marxist, Lenninst, Trotskyist, Maoist (only on Tuesday afternoons), Vegan, Sea Energy, Rockin 'n' Rollin,Workers' (well, that lets me out) Collective of Sigean, absolutely refuses to countenance the idea of a vote or any such populist nonsense.

Go and vote for your own President if you are so inclined! Or come to our Rally this evening that will be held to draw the world's attention to the depressed living conditions and low economic standards of the region's agricultural workers. (To decode that: I'll be in the bar, drinking the local wine).

OR, OK I'll take some photos next time I have the camera.

I vote for a picture from your terrace of what you see and another from below looking at the terrace...that way I'll know which is yours if ever I'm strolling by. ;)

It's not that small! About 15 square meters, with a great view over the vineyards and the Corbieres mountains. Alas, it faces North, and doesn't get as much sun as it might.

Bit like me, really!

It's really a terrace, but don't tell Janine....just yet. Dame Edna has retired, Possums.

Wow! Even more. Alright, if you don't really want to paint the walls, i'm sure that something else can be found for you -- digging the garden? rewiring the landing? Only joking...and smiling.

Bestest, Val

The Rebellion was over yesterday tea-time. Bloodlessly, I'm pleased to say. I await the next one.

If you REALLY want to work with me, you can come and paint the inside of my house. Thank you.

Like everyone else, Jannine, I do many arty things -- envelopes is one of them, arty slides is another, stamp art is a third, lino prints a fourth, etc. (See www.val-herman-art.eu to see what sort of things I do).

The current focii are Arty Slides (the Group, plus 2 Exhibitions this summer) and Envelopes (which is really a hangover from last summer, but for which I have 3 Exhibitions between April and August).

I've sort of got ideas for the next 1 or 2 projects, but haven't started on them yet, and probably won't until all these exhbitions are out of the way.

And, while all of this is going on, I still make and send collages and stuff to all the IUOMA boys and girls.

It keeps me busy, but I don't have much else to do in life these days.

The little monkeys don't look TOO rebellious, I'm pleased to say.

Thank you, Arac. Val

(If anyone else would like to send me an Envelope for my Exhibition on the theme of 'Summer', with the word 'Sigean' written somewhere on the front of it, I would be very, very greatful. Val)
