This is water long gone under the bridge, but I was pranked by these too. They are fake DSF Cult.

First, Michael Kelly (aka) DSF is a tremendous correspondent, brilliant artist. None of this should impact DSF as a respected Eternal Networker. 

Yes, DSF started a cult. We're seeing a lot of them lately. They've always existed in mail art, mostly as parody or satire. The Church of the SubGenius is one that is still remembered. A lot of us were involved in DKult here in the safety of IUOMA-Ning. It was mostly fun.

All that I know myself (agree or not): When I received similar material via mail with DSF Cult material I checked w/ DSF & he knew nothing about this wing of his cult. So I pulled the plug for my involvement.

I suppose Fake DSF Cult is fair game given all the other whackiness that goes on. 

But, you know, why not just send to DSF or some of his art folks? They're fun. You'll get some fab mail.

This stuff (fake DSF) is weird.

Also in mail art it means Dopesick San Francisco or #dsfcult.
