Not to worry, Mary Anne. You're not the first to find a rat in name.

I have just noticed that I have somehow added an extra "r" to your name in the address ... so sorry.  I spent ages looking for that "r" too!  Still, It did get there so not too bad.  Google Reggie Bray ( the extra "ay" was my attempt at "arty") because there is an excellent site that will recount his story far better than I could ... and with pictures.Suffice it to say that he was widely known in his day as both "The Autograph King" and "The Human Letter"!  If that dosn't arouse your curiosity nothing will!!  Cornell becomes more and more important to me by the year though I have a feeling there is a lot about him and his life that has yet to be said.  Not often we get a chance to see his work here in England, especialy in the North, but there are luckily a nice few books around that cgo someway towards showing his work.

Another batch of atamps are being done at this minute so look out for your postie....

Mary Anne's excellent homage stamps. To Cornell, our forefather and mother and Reggie Brayay who I must admit total ignorance of. I could google him of course but I'd rather let Mary Anne share his wonderful backstory. Plus her labor intensive envelope. Now, Mary Anne you should know that I am descended from the Staffordshires not the Stratfordshires. Thank you, Mary Anne
