Thank you for the tip, Mim.  I can't wait to try these different techniques.

Hey you guys, this has been such a fun thread for me. Just reading it has made me laugh out loud! I have to catch my breath now. so funny. Okay, so here's another technique. I would show my students how to put that packing tape on a magazine image, then soak the tape in water, until you can rub the paper off. It leaves a transparent image that you can then use on anything. I would attached the tape using double stick tape or a good white glue like Sobo.

Oh man, first I mistook George Macunias for a woman. Now I mistake Charlie Sheen for a woman. No way is that Charlie Sheen, Angie. Okay Angie, if you say so. The point is, it's a great collage. And it's time to send something to Mim. Hi Mim, don't mind us.

Hi Mim, nice work from Angie. Jon Foster is doing great work in this area, and Angie did a kind of homage. Snooker, if you read this, who is the woman in the b&w pic pointing? That is a nice shot.

What is the 'tape and peel technique', please?

It sounds like something that even I can manage.

I can tear down some posters from French walls if anyone ever wants one.

Regards, Val

Angie said that she used the Jon Foster tape and peel technique. It turned out quite nicely. Reminds me of those torn posters on walls in Paris.
