Why I am involved in Mail-Art:
I stumbled upon a video about Mail-Art this morning and was so intrigued by the idea, that I wanted to become a member of the International Union of Mail-Artists right away! I have been creating art since I was a little girl and find myself giving away my art to close friends, family, and even strangers. I also love snail mail and think that becoming involved in Mail-Art, I could combine two of my passions quite nicely :)

This is so cool that you found us by way of a chance meeting with a video about Mail Art. The Union is a great way to give away art and to receive some, too. Great you posted your postal address, too. I'll send you a piece of my recent Mail Art. See you in the Mail!

I just put your address on a card which will go out on Monday.

  • Patricio - The Celestial Scribe

Earthling, this is the last but certainly not the least welcome message to IUOMA you receive. I’m a celestial mail artist living in a heavenly corner of the faraway universe called Republik van Patland. When you joined IUOMA on february 8th I was unable to welcome you on board.  At the time I was in a Celestial Journey far beyond the Milky Way. Now, back to planet Earth, I´d love to be the other end if you wish to trade mail art with a celestial mail artist. If this is the case at the time your envelope should read as follows:

    The Celestial Scribe

    Terrene Embassy

    Republik van Patland

    Caixa Postal 24827

    Curitiba-PR

    80510-970

    Brazil

I look forward to see a piece of yours in our terrene mailbox. I´ll do my homework after receiving your artwork. This is nothing less than a Celestial Promise. I’m Patricio, Celestial Scribe & Republik van Patland Official Envelope Provider.
