I have always decorated my mail. It never occurred to me that there were other people like me!

So, my name is Prairie Kittin. I am on Flickr, deviantART, Facebook (Full Moon Artworks) and a few other places. Apparently I have a web presence. LOL!

I've been doing art my whole life. I think I was born with a pencil in my hand! :-)

I'm a 63 year old Grandma. I'm a biker who rides her own bike. I'm eclectic in a lot of my beliefs, but it all boils down to the fact that I am a dirt-worshipping tree hugger.

I live with my boyfriend.. a rather large hairy biker named Steve.

I have 2 black cats and a Maine Coon, Mousie, Prince and Trouble.
I have 3 pit bulls named Sookie, Sadie and Alcide.
I have 2 tan birds, Luna and Belle. They are ring neck doves.
I also have a "fish problem" according to Steve. I don't think I have a problem. I only have a 50 gallon, a 60 gallon, and a 10 gallon tank in the living room and a 20 gallon in the dining room! I have an Oscar, a Golden Severum, a couple of Danios, and a bunch of goldfish. Not a problem.

What does all this have to do with art in general and mail art in particular? Nothing, really. I just wanted to introduce myself. So, if this wild-haired crazy cat lady riding a motorcycle doesn't scare you off, let's be friends! :-)

    I once found a box with about 1500 Slides in a flea market. The guy wanted €25 for them. I offered him €5. 'No' he said. His wife said, 'Take his €5, and we can get rid of the wretched things once and for all.' So I got them for €5!

I had had 13 bikes.  I crossed South America from São Paulo-Brazil to Santiago-Chile 25 years ago. I know, by experience that bikers are not to be stopped, mainly if they aremodern witchs, speacially if they come from the West.

    Hi PK -- thank you so much for contributing your art to the little Oregonians boekie I sent out. I love the ship off the coast and "The Corridor of Life" on I-5. It really is, isn't it? And the page with the surreal tangle drawing and penguins and kangaroos, Oh my! Love it all. Do you want to be included in another such boekie if I get around to sending one out? Also I love your "welcome to the Machine!" on the sheet that went with the boekie! I guess it is a kind of communication/art machine.

    Zentangles are great way to fill up background space and far nicer than colouring in someone else work.
