. . . . and did I forget to mention my thanks for the set of "the dada centenary" stamps?! They are just great! Thank you! ~Grace

    Hi, Keith.

I didn't know who was using "amalgamated confusion" and asked @ IUOMA and a coupla people 'ratted you out'.

    YOB-f

  • Ficus strangulensis

Och! Yes! YOB-f is Y'r ol' Bud...

Hey, KC of AC and Dustomology,

I started ages ago to reply and then fell victim to my lost-in-the-dictionary malady... i.e. saw you have a website, looked at the whole string of pix and their titles [and loved many], noted "Lumix" and googled that, then Canon Rebel XTi [which I use]

and now [pant wheeze gasp] it's centuries[?] later and I'm back to respond to y'r que es... thanx4D trip. YOB-f

13.09.16 Dare Mister Keith S. Chambers, ...& my silly head pops up but only because of & to support  the insightful observations of Ficus strangulensis. I enjoyed reading your commentary regarding the term "luddite" at your website.  Ned Ludd  just happens to be one of my all time favorite saints. All best to you. Sincelery, Richard Canard

und sprachtung O'saying schmardt stoffe:In contrast to the approximately 100 nanometer large diamonds, in which individual nitrogen-vacancy centers are insulated from each other, the graphene layer is electrically conducting. Two gold electrodes detect the induced charge, making it electronically measureable.

    You made my day, Keith!

Thank you for the wonderful envelope and content, so much appreciated!

I've just posted the artistamps in the artistamp blog here at IUOMA, and hope to post more in my animals blog there , probably the weekend, as soon as I'll have some more free time.

And of course I have to create and send you mail art asap - sorry for my looong delay....

  • Jay Block

Thank you for the stamps and other cool stuff...best

Keith--your amazing postcard arrived very recently and has been added to my iuoma photo archive. I love the ostrich emerging from the banana. My comment: 'who is slippery as a banana skin and hides his head in the sand'. Love the artist stamp on the reverse--'the provisional bureaucrat' with an empty brain, plus the 'Resist' slogan. Yes we have to stiffen our spines and get our heads out of the sand! Thank you for a thought-provoking card.

  • Carmela Rizzuto

Keith--who else would translate the Latin! I knew it had to be something clever. That's a Red Jungle cock on the lunar stamp, I think. It's beautiful. So much food for thought in this creation of yours.  Something will come to you later in the year--I'm exploring some new (to me) techniques to share with my iuoma colleagues.

    Many thanks again!

  • Toni Hanner -- tonipoet

Keith, wonderful postcard! I never expected to see an ostrich emerging from a banana, but all things are possible in Mail Art! The flip side is great, too!

Thank you again, Keith, for the wonderful Ostrich!

I posted it in the Banana group today and on the Animals blog.

Sorry for still not having replied by snail mail to your previous mail art. I hope you'll have some more patience..

19.10.17 Dare Ms. Angie Cope & Mister Keith Chambers, ... absolutely amazing! ..."Informed Delivery" via the USPS. ...50, 20, or 10 years ago just pure fantasy thinking. ...but where does it all end with such technology ??? Will the Russians know what's in your mailbox & who sent it what, when & why ?  I am still yet irked at the rising price of a postcard. It cost me  38 cents for a 35 cents official  USPS postcard. ( I can even remember my grandmother referring to a "penny postcard") . Why can't technology do something about that??? ...or am I missing the point-boat again?  That is, maybe that 's what email is actually all about to begin with & I'm just still  fumbling around  & searching my files &  desk drawers  for antique correct postage. Thanx for Posting & Posting. SinCelery, Richard Canard

Dear Keith, Thank you so much for your great mail!

I posted both on the RWA blog, and a few also here, and here.

  • Ana Kawajiri

Dear Keith, I am enchanted by the beautiful mail art you've sent me.  The stamps are just marvellous and the printing quality is exquisite!  I loved the small stamp collage as well.  Thank you so much!  Here is a blogpost I made about it.
    Cheers,
    Ana

Hi Keith--I was so delighted to receive the "Celebrating Orange" mail art. Such a wonderful assemblage--from the snazzy orange envelope, the carrot floating in a non-aquarium dream sequence, to the non-hippurus/dolphinfish stamps. Love the engraved look of the images. Awesome!!! They will be posted soon.

  • Toni Hanner -- tonipoet

Keith thank you for 2! postcards this week -- absolutely love the fly, looks terribly real! and the poor lady with the bird nest on her head, very nice. I hope that doesn't catch on, though.

  • Audrey Enough

if there are anymore of those lovely nestheads available to hit the mail, i'd sure love one.....

30.05.18 Dare Mister Keith S. Chambers,   I just visited your "Luddite Journal"...enjoyed my visit--lots to see. By chance, can you tell me (or should the average viewer know already?) who is portrayed at the IUOMA as your logo image??? Best to you. SinCelery, Richard Canard

  • Jay Block

Thank you for the great beetle brain

  • Melissa Wand

Thanks for the reply postcard to my Eland,WI postcard. There's a bicycle trail that goes through this small town, so that's how I came upon it, and of course I had to stop and take a photo!!!

  • MaoMao

Many thanks for the Beetle Brain Bowler, Keith (Keef...) Looks almost silkscreened...

Loved the engraved printing of the Air Mail, stamps, too...so luxe. Jealous of the huge variety of US stamp designs.

Will treasure this one, not least for the cheeky skewed version of my name heh heh

    Regards,

    Nat "The Thing" Uhing

    Keith

I have made a change to my IUOMA Profile. My previous Postal Box address is no longer in service.

Thank you for sending me mail art in the past. I am taking a break from mail art exchanges. If you wish to contact me please use the IUOMA messaging or leave a comment on My Page.

  • MaoMao

Keith! I have been out of town. Hey, I thought it was funny, so let's call it a "Happy accident", okay? I am used to my father's Teutonic surname getting messed...I grew up in Asia, where everybody just assumed I could not write my own name properly, and that what I really wanted to write was Natalie CHING. :)

    Did ya get my postcard?

    Cheers,

    Nat Thing-A-Ma-Ching ;)

  • emily louise

Yikes!   I was catching up on sending mail art and came across your delightful postcard and the envelope I started to mail you way back in October.  So with embarrassment I am getting it all together to take to the post office and finally send to you, sling with sending you a friend request via IUOMA.  See you in the mail at last!

  • emily louise

At last, mail art is in on its way to you today!  See you in the mail!

  • Mizael Contreras

    Hi Keith,

Thanks for taking the time to visit my page and for your birthday wishes!

  • emily louise

At last, my mail art for you, using some of the "Scrap Starter Kit" you sent me from cleaning out your studio, is ready for the post office tomorrow.  I am delighted with your poems, your fabulously printed on envelopes and the scraps you sent me.  And before I got this one out to you another one from you came with such wonderful fish headed portraits.  I'm so curious about how you create all of these with such a sense of humor.  Your mail art is amazing me and making me smile.

  • Nancy Nosegay
