PROGETTO ARTE PER POSTA PER GIOVANI
Un progetto culturale sulla Prima Guerra Mondiale tra giovani di base nel nord-est
dell’Inghilterra e altri luoghi internazionali
Per celebrare il Centenario della Prima Guerra Mondiale, questo progetto arte per
posta per giovani d’eta’ tra gli 11 e I 25 anni si propone di creare un dialogo e uno
scambio intra-culturale attraverso ricerca e arte visuale. Theresa Easton, che e’
manager per il progetto nel nord-est dell’Inghilterra, sta pianificando di lavorare con
giovani nella sua regione per ricercare aspetti della Prima Guerra Mondiale e
l’eredita’ che essa ha lasciato. Usando una gran varieta’ di tecniche di stampa e
diversi processi per creare arte, questi giovani e Theresa Easton avranno come
partner altri giovani in altri paesi per scambiarsi l’arte che risultera’ dalla loro ricerca.
Questi scambi d’arte verranno esibiti in comunita’ e gallerie in tutta la regione del
nord-est dell’Inghilterra.
Il progetto ha come scopo quello di aumentare la nostra comprensione dell’impatto
di questa Guerra attraverso la ricerca in registri di storia locale. L’uso di tecniche di
stampa per esplorare e interpretare le risorse dell’eredita’ locale ha il potenziale di
produrre multiple forme d’arte come libri d‘artista, scatole della memoria, scatole di
risorse e lavoro in cornice. Un blog complementera’ il progetto e permettera’ che i
contribuenti nel mondo possano contribuire sul suo contenuto.
Temi del progetto usando risorse sull’eredita’ della storia locale del nord-est
includendo:
Arte da Trincea (Museo e collezionista privato)
Donne e Guerra (Museo e Biblioteche)
Storie Personali

COLLISIONS

The Eighties were the years when the artists currently operating in a vision of globalization of living and conceiving the work of art have been formed. A work that often can leave us amazed to consider its values. But the world is renewed quickly and often a decade can be considered at the space-time level like a century. It is easy to understand how this is done not only at a formal level and in the use of materials but above all on the idea of the art itself. The artist tends to be less and less faber and more and more sapiens tending to a synthesis that never before anyone had been able to imagine. Moreover he would like to be the ideologue and critic of himself in a form of freedom that the traditional market tends to obliterate and will hardly be able to recognize. But the road taken does not admit recesses but a whole sequence of collisions that constitute the new stimuli often as a result of the clashes that may even lead not to the realization of the work but to a continuous design of the same, often multiple, which serves to keep alive an idea of art that others will have to share not simulating the works themselves but considering them as ever new moments of research.                         Giancarlo Da Lio
