Thank you very much Toni for the wonderful mail art which I received a couple of days ago and have been slow to thank you for (my apologies, the back to work after the holidays thing is torture!).  The artwork is wonderful, I like how you have used the appropriate imagery for the words, they work perfectly together.  And the bling, you have to love a bit of bling, don't you?(apologies for the poor photo, it is mostly dark here when I am home, sadly)!

Glad to see that you received my duck card and colorful envelope.  And I'm happy to hear that this cheered you up on a gloomy Oregon day!  How appropriate that I sent a card with a duck to Oregon.  I'm not much of a sports fan, but I have heard of the Oregon Ducks sports teams (football & basketball).  - Gail

So glad u liked the postcard.  Originally it was sent to someone in Berlin Germany but was returned to me, many months later.  I never was able to forward it to the intended person, so I refurbished it and sent it to you.  My mother taught me to recycle at a young age!  Hope you are getting thru the winter.  Cheers!  Debra

I'm busy making mail, and loving it.  I usually start my day in pajamas, drinking coffee, listening to NPR and making mail art. Must have gotten a little wild the other morning in my swivel office chair and fell out of it on the floor!  I laughed it off - didn't think I was hurt - at least not until about 48 hrs later.  Yikes.  This old age thing is not for wimps like me.  I am getting better, but still somewhat injured.  Nothing too serious though.  Cheers Toni!

Hey Toni, glad to know that both postcards made their way over to you. I love seeing the end results of these pieces and how they fared through the mail. The fly seems to have picked-up some incidentals on its trip; I'd expect nothing less from this little bottle fly.

The other card seems to have traveled a little rougher; missing a corner.

Greetings.  Hope the summer is winding down happily for you and Michael. I had almost x2 dozen pieces waiting for me when I got home from travel mid August.  I am finally catching up.  It is inspiring to see new artists here doing great work.  My thanks to people like you for posting so much.  I've gotten lazy with that - focusing instead on dehydrating peaches, tomatoes and riding my bike while I can.  I wish I could come back over to your house on a Sunday morning to make art, share treats and food!  xoxo, Debra
