Why I am involved in Mail-Art:
In this age of technology and digital information I hate going to my mailbox. There's nothing inspiring or creative to greet people at the box anymore. I think this is an awesome way to spread art, love and random acts of kindness all over the world.

Hello Debbie, you're going to love being a member of the Union. Art, love, kindness gets spread all over the world. Recently members sent my Mom (who's in L.A.) wishes on her 100th birthday. Talk about kindness and love! Answers to questions about the Union and Mail art can be found in New to IUOMA and the group Ask Anything. I'm the mentor for January so feel free to contact me if you have questions. All my info is on my IUOMA page.

Hi, for IUOMA members, we are the owners of an art gallery in Marseille, France, and organizing a Mail Art exhibit ''not for sale'' from June 3 to 30, 2014. The theme is: "Mermaids in the port, queens of the sea..." We invite you to participate and send an artist's letter. Free technique. On a postcard or any other object of your choice. Illustration, address and stamp on the same page. Deadline for hanging: May 10, 2014.   Send a work in mail format as original as possible. Send to: JC SARPI -  LE LAB 3 rue Bussy l'indien 13006    Marseille France
.We will answer each mail by sending Mail Art. Looking forward to presenting your works.  Thank you for giving the information to all the persons who may participate to the project. Look at http://lelab13006.blogspot.fr

Welcome to mailart 365. I'm on my second 365 and doing a bird a day this time. it'd be great to have some more company on the 365 journey!

I am glad you liked the cover(stamp collector speak for envelope) The envelope was a originally done for the john wayne stamp. My Random pst comes from the fact that you could get almost anything from me like this hand printed art to a realistic drawing to a strange abstract thing. Have no idea about cost but I will sell my stamps. I have three different sets right now. will put them all on my page, think about cost, and get back to you. Greg

Earthling, this is the last but certainly not the least welcome message to IUOMA you receive. I’m a celestial mail artist living in a heavenly corner of the faraway universe called Republik van Patland. When you joined IUOMA on january 26 I was unable to welcome you on board.  At the time I was in a Celestial Journey far beyond the Milky Way. Now, back to planet Earth, I´d love to be the other end if you wish to trade mail art with a celestial mail artist. If this is the case at the time your envelope should read as follows:

    The Celestial Scribe

    Terrene Embassy

    Republik van Patland

    Caixa Postal 24827

    Curitiba-PR

    80510-970

    Brazil

I look forward to see a piece of yours in our terrene mailbox. I will do my homework after receiving your artwork. This is nothing less than a Celestial Promise. I’m Patricio, Celestial Scribe & Republik van Patland Official Envelope Provider.

Thank you, Debbie, for the add n passes.  They are pretty much full now so I'll send them back to their originators.
