Oh, wow, origami! Is she hip to the origami architecture sites in Japan? They're amazing. It's actually a combination of origami and kirigami but I don't quibble when it's good art. :) I love the 11/11/11 at 11:00 thing - I'll probably be thinking of them at that moment since it's too cool to forget something like that. :)

Leslie Caldera - why didn't I think of using your real name at Facebook!!!??? Jeez. Sometimes I see the oncoming headlights of senility staring me in the face and I DON"T LIKE IT. lolol...

Thanks for the news and the heads up. :)

    CT,
Thanks for the stamp sheet, Judith will be missed. I sent her a mangled umbrella I found on the street back in the early 80's. Before the internet it was her and Joey at Eat it Up $ ( no cent sign on this keyboard, inflation perhaps). Then I'm reminded of Eric Satie, who when he passed away they found alot (100+) of umbrellas in his place, many brand new and unwrapped. Hope this finds you and your family well.

    CT,
I'm waiting to see the rideable assemblage! I threw out a couple of old frame before I moved, one a tripple butted by Tange Ultimate, had a nice ring to it when struck with a 1.5" dia. wood dowel.

    CT,
There used to be a group that raced single speeds off road in New England (all those hills!) they were nuts! I'll see if I can find the shadow of a bike I sent to Tibor Papp for a show in Australia many years ago. Than there's Alfred Jarry and his love for bikes, alcohol, ether, ink, etc.

Any luck in the job search? Tried to track down some old parts to get things rolling, my Lemond has ultegra 7 spd parts, very hard to find. Will steal parts from my wife's road bike that has very few miles on it. Wheel trueing, hub packing and new bearings, chain rings, cassette, shifters, new cables and housings, new tires, and on and on should keep me busy this weekend. I'll have parts for an assemblage!!! Did you ever read Alfred Jarry's 'Supermale'? Makes the Tour de France look like a sunday ride!

    LIMITE, SCAMBIO, SEGNO
    LIMIT, EXCHANGE, SIGN
A tribute for the city of Portogruaro through a project involving art through mail. The keywords chosen as the theme are the motif of its foundation, joined in a common flow.

    Limit

the channels and the gardens of the palaces,
a constant reference to a change in system, material and colour.

    Exchange
not only of goods but also of colours and scents,
    artistic and architectural influences,
    mutual knowledge, therefore culture.

    Sign
a condition of consent expressed in gesture, the conclusion of an agreement,
a trace superimposed on many others:
whose meaning is beyond the sum of the parts.

Hey CreativeThing - I just saw your homage to Kurt Schwitters on the A1 mail archive  and just wondered if you have any left? - A colleague at work told me that I should really look at his work and I thought that it would be great to get a mailartists perspective on it.
