There are a lot of Mail-Art cows out there in the network. In this group I try to collect all the images and collect them. Add your own cows and share them with us.
Happy Cow Appreciation Day! Did you know that cows share 80 percent of their genes with humans? And contrary to popular belief, they don't sleep standing up, so you can't go tip'em at night ...hope this mooooves you to celebrate!
I saw this cow on some facebook posting a long time ago, and it made me so happy, as my name is on the bum. But I did not know who made it, now discovered it in this group, it was made by Helen! So chuffed.
10.02.19 Dare Mister carl baker, ...."something else......" ???? ---that just might be Dick Higgins. ... but as I recall, this little cow (on the other side of the fence) resulted in Rosalind Constable's article "The Mailaway Art Of Ray Johnson" New York Magazine 1970(?)...certainly not crucial but I've often wondered about Ray's comment about Robert Indiana. SinCelery, Richard Canard
richard, yes i found that image on some art site this am, covering fluxus and 70s mail art, i just liked it so as to confound things here at the mail-art cow group, but i only have one title from something else press, cheerio/p>
Claire -- you should see a white "comment box" on this page. I'm writing this in one of them... Anyway, in the upper left corner of the comment "box," there are little symbols. The second one from the left looks like a wee landscape of mountains and a sun (perhaps). If you click on that symbol, it allows you to upload a photo from your computer. Hope that helps!!

I made this cow a some years ago. It may be the biggest mail art piece I ever sent out, but I think the recipient did not care much for it.
