No calls, no deadlines, no themes, just a place to share your art in an informal way. By joining this group you indicate you are willing to exchange art by mail with the other members. The only expectation is to use common courtesy. Let's have fun!
This is an intriguing postcard sent by my Always Intriguing friend Tom Brown. I plan to copy the line art, add more to it, and send this back to Tom. Thanks VERY much for sending me awesome mail-art!
Hi Dale! Thanks very much for sending me a fab altered postcard! How cute is the "Mail Art Cat Delivery" yellow cat with his red boots and companion dog. You signed it Febra J so tell me about that. I'll be sending you some mail-art by "Speedy Delivery." (I love Mr. Rogers)
I have a number of mail art pieces that are done or are close to being done but no one to send them to. If anyone is interested in receiving one let me know and I will send it your way....
I received this fun cute frog from Alana Schlotter. I took it's picture with a yellow background so it may not appear that this is a cut-out piece with the eyes popping out to compliment the friendly smile. Thank you Alana! :)
Thanks for sharing my piece here, Grace! I'm glad I found this group. I'm trying to create at least one small-scale art piece a week to give away (e.g., a poem, a visual/erasure poem, a collage, a unique chapbook/booklet, or some hybrid or small collection). I would just like to send them to people who are interested and who wouldn't mind reciprocating now and then. If you *are* interested, please let me know, either publicly here or friend/msg me (if we're not already friends here), and I'll put you on my list!
Thank you for the no/low pressure exchange. I often work too many hours, then am off for a stretch, which is when I can focus on my artwork and desert gardening. See you all soon!
I just joined IUOMA, and would love to take part in the mail exchange. I appreciate the low pressure exchange idea, and am excited to send my first piece out!
I'm new to this whole thing too, and wanted to get started somewhere, and this seems like the sort of place to do that. Add me or send me a message if you're interested, I'll be happy to send things back too! :D

Hi Everyone! I'm brand new to the site and would love to start receiving and exchanging mail art. I'm wondering how I get started? Do you have themes or prompts?
Today I spent four hours and created 7 pieces of mail art (that was fun). That is the record for me! What is yours ? Of these I am saving 2 for recent mail art replies but the rest are extras ready to be sent out. If you are interested in receiving please let me know or send me a friend request :-)
I just discovered this group through a new IUOMA friend...thanks, Annette! In browsing the comments, I discovered some of my other IUOMA friends are here. Hi Grace, Toni, and Maria! Of course I just had to join! :-)
