Almond trees in Greece, Feb 20, 2019 "False Spring"

Nikos Katzanzakis writes about the monk who says to the almond tree:

" You scatter-brain almond tree, 

if you blossom now in mid-winter,

the snow will come and destroy you"...

Saturday, Feb 23, 2019 in northern Greece:

"...Let it" says the almond tree, 

every Spring :-)

Is that SNOW...or almond blossoms?

Here in the Amstelland both spring blossom and winter bold trees. Maybe hard to see because of the shadow and my tiny camera, but I guess inspiring for us, mail artists, though:
