I got my Francoise boekie today!  It really is fantastic.  I love the overlays and the whispy strands that hold it together.  Beautiful work- I must check out these bunnies and other critters online.

Here it is! What a beautiful book, many thanks , Francoise! The transparent overlays are amazing...Alexander looooves South Africa!

Once upon a time..

a house with a very busy art room, indeed! Excellent!

...filled with bunnies and loving animals!

...sleepy kitty! This is great!

And they will all live ...happily ever after! Thank you, Francoise!

Aha! Me thinks, Cheryl, that we share the same collage materials/studio environmental conditions? I "lost" a rare and "extreme" mail art piece that Helen Amyes in Australian sent me back in JULY, a party plate!....(and I don't even have monkeys to blame, or do I?) But then, rumaging through materials for collage work...whalaaa! There it was. My Mama always said: "Nothing is ever lost here...it is just misplaced" (by monkeys). Keep smiling, girl ;-)

The monkeys were having an Art Detox Party...when finished, they returned it!

Apologies South African monkeys, I found Katerina's original Alexander during a collage dig.  Sorry Mom Kat :-(

Hey Cheryl, I sent my Alexander book well before Christmas.  Has it not made it's way to you yet?  If not, let me know and I will rectify.

...a little rice paper/ vellum image on a page ahead of your mail art, and it is a beautiful addition to "Alexander"!

along with the mountaiins high, i will include the "man with the red..." and the dancers that were brought to the courts of Babylon for Alexander's pleasure!

Yes, even the lady with "roses in her eyes" and your "Master's Eye" will be part of the pages in my Alexander book. No need to "throw-in-the-towel" when you have sent such a wondrous collection of art work. Many thanks dear Jon!

Not so fast, Jon! Apology NOT accepted ;-) Actually, tyou have done some amazing work and while they do not fit the "exact" definition of a boekie, still, with your permission, I shall incude your mail art, especially the tape transfers, into the "Alexander Wept" book.

First, there is the elegant mountain range of shapes and forms that arrived in today's mail. I see Alexander the Great and his men climbing the mountain passes into Afganistan, heading toward India! It is a magnificent piece of art, and will be an addition along with the others into my Alexander book, many thanks, Jon!
