I work on many pieces simultaneously - not just mail art: paper, mixed media, collage, panels- and I had run out of space to place incomplete work as it dries. So I built a storage rack with many shelves, shown here in the back corner. Now my…Continue

Here you go, don't know when it'll be cleaned up!

Sara, before you clean up make sure to take a photo. You've probably gathered that we like mess here too, and seeing how people work and what sort of stuff we use. Welcome to the group!

@taidgh - yea, there's a hell of a lot of stuff! 30+ years of collecting adds up...  I've seen a lot of pics here that blow it away though...%_^

@Vizma - two trays of tapes. Yes, I'm a fetishist ("collector," to put it a bit more innocuously (excusably? %_^). I've been collecting for years.... It's quite a thing - folks get obsessed it seems! They're about 2.50 - 4.00 here. Except the "limited edition" tapes, which can get quite absurd in their prices - but they do seem to last forever... It's Great stuff! I'll make sure to use a selection in my next mailing to you. It's not permanent on non-textured paper, so you can peel it off & use it over and over. I keep sheets of wax paper in a file covered with all the pieces of tape I've taken off packages over the years... I order a lot of supplies from Japan, & the tape sellers love packaging as much as I. They usually send each roll in a little cellophane envelope sealed w/ tape, their packages, inside bubble wrap & outside box, often covered in the stuff too. It's great!!!

Rebecca, beauuutiful orange!! I love that! Sure that's not a ferret? I had one that looked JUST like that!

Claire, is that washi tape in the drawer, or in two drawers? I've never seen so much, and haven't used it either. What IS the deal with that stuff? It costs about $5 here, you must be rich!!!

I've stopped cleaning my studio so I don't fall into Rebecca's Catch 22 trap.
